systemctl edit docker
, that creates the config file, if it doesn't exist, and then edits the file

To run:
$ docker volume create mysql
$ docker run --rm -d --name mysql -p 3306:3306 -v mysql:/var/lib/mysql -e MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD=mysecretpassword mysql:5
PostgreSQL
To run:
$ docker volume create postgres
$ docker run --rm -d --name postgres -p 5432:5432 -v postgres:/var/lib/postgresql/data -e POSTGRES_PASSWORD=mysecretpassword postgres:9-alpine
